The Swoosh label recently teamed up with its longtime partner Fragment Design to offer a collaborative Fragment x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon sneaker pack. The duo’s latest collection includes two distinct renditions of Air Zoom Spiridon: ' Blue Void’ and ‘Black.’
The Fragment x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon sneaker pack is all set to make its debut on December 17, 2024. These sneakers are marked with a selling price label of $170 for each pair. Both the iterations will be purchasable via Nike’s official website.
Fragment x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon sneaker pack features two colorways
Two pairs of Fragment x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon sneakers have emerged, one in Blue Void and the other in Black. The Blue Void pair boasts a white mesh foundation with black suede covering the mudguard, which runs from toe to heel.
Near the blue Swoosh on the midfoot is a tooling code, which is common on fragment design collaborative works, and "Nike / FRGMT Zoom Spiridon" lettering on the Swoosh.
More fragment marking can be spotted on the tongue label, which features FRGMT stitched in tonal white, and on the co-branded insole. Underfoot, the timeless Zoom Spiridon foam midsole in white is teamed with a black rubber outsole featuring fragment designs logos everywhere.
The Black pair uses a comparable structure and material used in the White version, but in a stealthy all-black color scheme. The only non-black touches are from the white tooling lettering across the mudguard, the Swoosh, and the side Swoosh.
As shown on Nike's website, the latest collab merges Fragment's Hiroshi Fujiwara's classic and clean aesthetic with Nike's lifestyle sneaker. The description of these joint Fragment x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon on the Swoosh’s site reads:
"Japanese designer and self-described “cultural DJ,” Hiroshi Fujiwara is synonymous with an eclectic style that’s both sophisticated and expressive. Regarded as the "Godfather of Harajuku"—a Tokyo neighborhood he’s credited for transforming—Hiroshi and his Fragment label continue to heavily shape streetwear culture worldwide. Using Hiroshi's clean, classic aesthetic and approach to product design, Nike and Fragment join forces to revive the beloved '97 Air Zoom Spiridon.”
