The pickle obsession in the US

A few days ago, Gail Becker founder of Caulipower, launched a dill pickle frozen pizza. “We worked on it for maybe two years until we got it just right — boy did we ever,” she told New York Post magazine. “They have 20 different barrels. Pickled onions, pickled cabbage — pickled everything,” she said.

The Caulipower Dill Pickle Pizza consists of stone-fired thin and crispy cauliflower crust, topped with a "creamy white béchamel sauce infused with dill pickle brine, melty mozzarella, roasted garlic, and a fresh dill garnish." The company explained, as stated in a report in Food & Wine.

That’s not all, recently on January 10, 2025, Siete Foods launched Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips. The brand took to Instagram to share the news and wrote -

“Inspired by our memories of enjoying pepitas preparadas at Mexican snack shops, we created these Kettle Cooked Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips with thoughtfully selected ingredients for more people to enjoy.”
