“Finally, cans”: Fans excited as Sprite Tropical Mix is set to be distributed nationwide 

Rumor has it that the Sprite Tropical Mix will begin distribution across all the regions of the United States, and fans are excited. The tropical mix flavor released in Spring 2016 was only available to selected regions.

@TeamSupernovaFB on X shared the good news with the caption:

“The incredibly regional Sprite Tropical Mix is making a nationwide return later this year in both bottles and cans. Unfortunately, there will be no zero sugar.”

@Joenziii, excited over the canned version of the soda drink, tweeted in reply;

“Finally, cans.”

Other users were thrilled by the news and tried to confirm if the redistribution was permanent:

“Do you know if the Sprite chilled is permanent or not?” @InuyashaSan87 asked.

“Is it permanent?” @20thJeffrey responded.

@sodaseekers on Instagram also updated followers with the caption:

“A fan-favorite Sprite flavor is about to be much easier to find! While the Sprite Tropical Mix has been available in 20-oz bottles in certain regions for years now, the flavor will be available in stores nationwide in both bottles and cans starting in March. At this time, there are no plans for a zero sugar release."

Some of the account's followers expressed that they weren’t aware that the soft drinks were restricted to some regions.

More details on the Sprite Tropical Mix

The Sprite Tropical Mix is inspired by the brand’s products from the early 2000s. The brand introduced the drink as follows:

“An ode to our past for all the Sprite Remix fans from the early 2000s. Rediscover the combination of the crisp, familiar Sprite lemon-lime taste with delicious strawberry and pineapple flavors.”

The Sprite Tropical Mix boasts 100% natural flavors and blends lemon-lime Sprite with pineapple and strawberry flavors. The drink’s constituents include carbonated water, citric acid, corn syrup, natural flavors, sodium benzoate, and sodium. The 20 oz drink consists of a green cap with an orange and white branding on the waist. The can is dressed in orange with white accents bearing the brand name. It is sold for $66.19 at Walmart.
