Sir Elton John has another feather to his cap by becoming a candle connoisseur. The legendary singer has launched an exclusive collection of his candles with his long-time friend and founder of Slatkin + Co, Harry Slatkin. The collection, Elton John by Slatkin + Co. Woodside, is a tribute to Elton's hometown and festive season.
In a statement, Elton spoke about the collection and noted,
“Candles have become a key ingredient in my home decor, especially during the holiday season, and I am deeply honored to be releasing my own collection just in time for the festive season."
The duo have launched 37 items, some of which were released on November 18. Some candles will be unveiled on November 23. Until then, customers and Elton John's fans can enjoy Black Friday discounts at QVC.

Elton's new collection celebrates his friendship with Harry Slatkin, whom he met years ago. The legendary artist spoke to People Magazine about the launch and his liking for high-quality scents.
Elton revealed that he and Harry Slatkin have always wanted to curate a collection together. The collection includes many candles, like an advent calendar, and diffusers that have been carefully curated by Elton. He added that he was "personally involved" in the process. Elton elaborated on the created and noted that the candles are inspired by his "favorite holiday memories" and stated,
“We worked alongside some of the greatest master perfumers, using the highest quality essential oils to deliver a fragrance experience like no other.”

Elton also noted that while it is difficult for him to choose a favorite scent, he chose the Holiday Traditions fragrance, a part of the 50oz Decorative Candle. Elton praised the packaging and described why this is his favorite scent,
“I love fresh orange pomander, fir balsam, amber and cinnamon bark. These scents evoke the holidays to me! Harry was able to weave these into this one amazing scent. It reminds me of a cozy winter’s day with [husband] David [Furnish] and the children celebrating our family gatherings.”
