Edison Chen's Hong Kong-based streetwear brand CLOT has partnered with Adidas Originals once again to reimagine the beloved Superstar silhouette with a nod to the Year of the Snake.

The CLOT x Adidas Superstar 'Year of the Snake' sneakers dress in a predominantly black color palette with a sleek base. The upper of the shoes is crafted from a mix of materials, which includes soft leather, suede, and the signature Silk Royale textile. It is a monogram pattern that is a hallmark of CLOT's previous collaborations.

Adidas branding Three Stripes on the side are adorned with a textured snakeskin finish, a direct reference to the Year of the Snake. Rows of small golden stars are embroidered between the Three Stripes. They visibly exude a festive feel. Additional gold accents have been featured on the tongue, laces, and branding elements.

A standout feature of the sneakers is the ornamental charm: a gold coin with a red tassel. The charm is believed to be a nod to traditional Chinese knots, which symbolize longevity and happiness. January 10, 2025: Exclusive release at Juice stores, a retail chain founded by Edison Chen.
January 16, 2025: Global release through Adidas and Juice’s online platforms.

Per Hypebeast, the sneakers will retail for $200 (€200 in Europe). These pieces are highly anticipated to become a coveted piece for global collectors and fans of both brands.
