BLACKPINK’s Lisa on her upcoming debut album and her acting role in White Lotus

BLACKPINK's Lisa revealed details about her upcoming debut album and other future projects in an interview with Mathias Rosenzweig of V Magazine.

Lisa released an Extended Play of just two songs in 2021, and her upcoming project titled Alter Ego will be her first full album release as a solo artist. The BLACKPINK singer stated that since releasing her 2021 EP, she wanted to create a body of work to explore different music genres:

"I released an EP a few years ago, just two songs, but I wanted to branch out now and experiment with different types of sounds and to have that creative control.”

Lisa is also starring in the second season of the hit television series The White Lotus, set in her homeland, Thailand. She spoke about her first acting experience and the support she received from Mike White, creator and director of the series:

“This was my first acting gig, so when I started, I had to prepare so many things. It’s a whole new world to me. I was all over the place. But on the first day of the shoot, everybody was so supportive. Mike White…oh my God, I love him. He was super chill and told me I was doing a good job. I couldn’t believe it.”
