As Valentine’s Day is approaching, various brands in the U.S. are unveiling exciting treats to celebrate love and affection.

This year, Dairy Queen will be relaunching its Red Velvet Cake Blizzard, a cult-favorite flavor that was loved by the masses when it was last launched in 2021. This time it will be available for customers starting January 27, 2025, till the entire month of February.

This limited-time offering will coincide with Valentine’s Day celebrations and is anticipated to be a highly popular product due to its raving reviews from previous customers.

According to All Recipes, this flavor originally joined the menu in 2014. Since then, there has been a huge demand for it. Another sweet treat that will be joining the flavor includes the Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake, which is perfect for two people making it the best dessert option for Valentine’s Day.

The prices of Red Velvet Cake Blizzard and Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake are not listed as such on the internet. But they will be available nationwide in selected locations, according to food vlogger, Markie Devo. Customers will be able to purchase them from their local DQ stores or through the DQ’s app or website.


What do Red Velvet Cake Blizzard and Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake consist of?

According to All Recipes, Red Velvet Cake Blizzard features Dairy Queen’s signature vanilla soft serve which is blended with red velvet cake pieces and cream cheese icing.

Whereas the Red Velvet Blizzard Cupid Cake is a heart-shaped cake. This ice-cream cake is made with layers of vanilla soft serve, combined with a layer of red velvet cake pieces and cream cheese icing. The best part is that it is topped with a layer of Red Velvet Cake Blizzard and adorable tiny hearts in red and pink, with “XOXO” written on the top.

According to a post in All Recipes, the red velvet dessert will be available as DQ’s Blizzard of the Month and is not limited to a Valentine’s Day offering. So, you can treat it yourself whenever you feel like.
