Attention Starbucks fans! Costco has restocked the company’s cult-favorite beverage called the Starbucks Pink Drink.
The popular Strawberry Acai refresher is made with a blend of strawberry, açaí, coconut milk, and fruit juice flavors, giving customers a tropical feel. A 12-pack bundle of this drink is being sold at Costco for $16.99, making it a way better deal for Super Bowl fans.
According to All Recipes, when Costco first released the drink in 2024, a 12-count package was priced at $18.99, which is $1.41 per bottle. The Starbucks Pink Drink reportedly started as a customized order before it became so popular that the coffee chain officially added it to the menu in 2017.
Instagram handle @costcobuys shared the news on its official account on February 2, 2025.
The drink is best suited for people who are trying to watch their caffeine intake, as each bottle contains less than 5 milligrams of caffeine in comparison to 100 milligrams in a cup of coffee.
How did the Starbucks Pink Drink originate?
The bottled version of the Pink Drink was officially added to the menu of Starbucks in 2023, as per the reports. However, according to a report in Business Insider, the drink went viral in 2016 when fans started going crazy over a Starbucks’ secret menu item – the pink drink.
The trending beverage was made by replacing water with coconut milk in the basic Strawberry Açaí Refresher. It gets its name from the soothing color it generates after being blended with the milk.

The company described its strawberry açaí refresher as "sweet strawberry flavors accented by passion fruit and açaí notes and lightly caffeinated with green coffee extract,” as per the report in Business Insider.
According to a news release by Starbucks in 2023, the company announced that the "much-anticipated Ready-To-Drink Starbucks Pink Drink and Starbucks Paradise Drink" will be released soon and "will be available for a suggested retail price of $3.67 per 14 oz bottle (prices vary by retailer)."
Chanda Beppu, Senior Vice President & President of global channel development at Starbucks, said:
“We are excited to launch the new ready-to-drink Starbucks Pink Drink and Paradise Drink on store shelves nationwide, offering our customers another way to enjoy these delicious and refreshing beverages.”
She added,
“Starbucks Pink Drink began as a customer-created beverage in our Starbucks stores and quickly became a fan favorite and permanent beverage on the menu. Offering the plant-based, cold drinks inspired by Starbucks Refreshers beverages in grocery channels further extends the Starbucks RTD portfolio.”
The drink became an Instagram hit, and fans started pairing it with doughnuts and other foods. But a few among them didn’t approve of the drink because of its “super sweet” taste.
In addition to the Pink Drink, Costco sells Starbucks Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drink, Starbucks Liquid Coffee Creamer, Starbucks Caffe Verona Whole Bean Coffee, Dark Roast, Starbucks Premium Espresso Beverage, Starbucks Whole Bean Coffee, French Roast, and a wide range of Starbucks products as per Costco’s official website.
