Converse teams up with artists for custom Valentine’s Day sneakers: price, designs and more details explored.

Converse is all set to make the sneakerheads' Valentine's Week special with their new custom Valentine's Day design. The sneaker and apparel brand made a new announcement on its Instagram story on February 3 by launching special Valentine's Day sneakers.

The brand teamed up with two artists for the Valentine's Day collection. Jaël Makelemi designed the Love Is A Gamble sneakers, while SJ Spreng created the Lovedrops sneakers. Customers can customize the colors and designs to create their own unique pair.

The artists have used Custom Chuck Taylor All Star By You sneakers to create the design. The high-top shoe is unisex and can be a great gift for both partners. The custom Valentine’s Day sneakers are now available on Converse's website for $85.

Design details of the new 'Love Is A Gamble' and 'Lovedrops' sneakers by Converse

Converse has partnered with London-based artist Jaël Makelemi, who designed the 'Love Is A Gamble' sneakers.

Converse added the inspiration behind the sneaker design by saying,

"Jael’s design, “Love Is A Gamble,” embraces the truth that love can be unpredictable, and it’s that leap into the unknown—rolling the dice—that makes us vulnerable, and ultimately that risk can be extremely rewarding."

The Love Is A Gamble includes the Converse All Star logo on the sides with colorful hearts and dice designs on the other side. One can customize the colors, prints, and text to make their own custom shoes.

Converse has also partnered with SJ Spreng, an LA-based artist, who designed the 'Lovedrops' sneakers.

Converse added the inspiration behind the sneaker design by saying,

"SJ’s design, “Lovedrops,” leans into her experience having her heart cracked and splintered by love, but also recognizes the whimsy and magic of love to serve as a reminder to not be afraid to fall in love again."

The sneakers have an all-star logo with arrow detailing on one side and Cupid shooting a heart with an arrow on the other. Just like Love Is A Gamble, this is also completely customizable by choosing desired colors, prints, and text.
