Burger King has sparked a debate among its fans and followers with its latest addition to their menu which is a Donut Burger.

In December 2024, Burger King Ecuador teased the arrival of Donut Burger in a post. Finally, in January 2025, the burger chain officially launched the sweet and savory burger. The burger features a golden doughnut which serves as the bun paired with a Beef patty, melted cheese, and crispy bacon.

A food page called Mouth Attack shared the news on its Instagram handle. It wrote in the caption:

“A combination you never saw coming! Burger King Ecuador has launched the Donut Burger, and it’s turning heads with its bold twist on the classic burger.”

It further added:

“Be among the first to try this unique creation that blends sweet and savoury flavors into one unforgettable bite. With its golden doughnut bun and signature Burger King flavors, this is a taste experience you won’t want to miss.”

The company hasn’t released the price and launch date yet but the burger is anticipated to hit the shelves in the coming days. While some people on the internet are excited to try it others are not impressed. The doughnut burger is only available at Burger King Ecuador.

Has Burger King introduced a unique menu before?

These burgers are named after the famous anime characters, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, and are called Naruto and Sasuke burgers.

The Naruto Burger features a flame-grilled beef patty which is enclosed in a white sesame-seed bun. The burger is filled with layers of fried onions, lettuce, melted cheese, and an orange-colored emulsified soy sauce.

The Sasuke Burger features similar condiments as the Naruto Burger but replaces the beef patty with a fried chicken patty and ketchup.
