Bad Bunny is certainly one of the most well-known Puerto Rican artists in the world. He has also spread beyond the music arena in collaboration with adidas. Throughout all these years, he has been collaborating with some of the most iconic designs in sneakers, such as the Forum Buckle Low and Response CL.

This third and last adidas collaboration has the new "Ballerina" pack stirring some murmurs in the sneakerhead world. adidas hasn't announced an official release date, but pictures and early information are going around online stating that it's coming this April 2025.

This gives the fans a little glimpse of what they can expect with this sneaker drop. The "Ballerina" sneakers seem to be reimagining an adidas model through the distinct design features mirroring the style of Bad Bunny.

What are Bad Bunny x adidas "Ballerina" Sneakers?

This adidas "Ballerina" Sneaker is inspired by the adidas Taekwondo model, specifically of 2019 since it was only available as a streamlined slip-on form. The new variant has made adjustments to better represent the style of the artist, Bad Bunny.

A significant difference is the absence of the scrunchie-style elastic collar. The shoe still holds a minimalist profile with slight Three-Stripes branding raised across the sides. The midsole makes use of a gum sole, which gives a refreshed shape to the shoe. Colorwise, one is most likely to expect the color combination to be neutral, with off-white and black tones taken to design the sneaker.

Material and construction of Bad Bunny x adidas "Ballerina" Sneakers

The "Ballerina" shoe is supposed to be made of a canvas upper, whose material contributes to breathability and the lightness of the shoe. Although they are lightweight and comfortable, they are not as strong as those with leather uppers or synthetics in wet conditions.

The shoe features a gum sole, providing a grip-filled base for casual use. There's also an adjustable lace-up system to provide an exact fit. A feature distinguishing the "Ballerina" sneaker from Bad Bunny's previous adidas collaborations is the streamlined silhouette, whereas all the previous ones had large structures and prominent overlays.

Expected drop and available date of Bad Bunny x adidas "Ballerina" Sneakers

As of now, adidas has not said a word on the official release date for the "Ballerina" sneakers that it collaborated with Bad Bunny, but since hypebeast.com reported it to be April 2025, the fans are expecting to know the exact release dates soon. It is also said to retail at $120.

The sneakers should be available on adidas' official website, in selected adidas retailers, and probably via Bad Bunny's exclusive merchandise channels.

Potential drawbacks of Bad Bunny x adidas "Ballerina" Sneakers

While the "Ballerina" sneaker is a new take on an adidas classic, it may still not suit everyone's taste. Its canvas upper is one of the reservations, as while it is comfortable, it is less durable than leather or synthetic materials and weathered easily to extreme conditions. The maintenance for clean sneakers, as well, seems higher, as they easily become dirty and stained.

The growing shoe portfolio of an artist gets to see the entrance of the thrilling Bad Bunny x adidas "Ballerina" sneakers, inspired by a Taekwondo version from adidas. Given that a concrete date of release has not yet been published, all who wish to have one should follow the official pages of Adidas for updates with regard to the date of release.
