Election Day brings much tension to the air with Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump going face to face. With just one day left for the election date, some businesses are gearing up to encourage and celebrate voting by citizens!

From free donuts by Krispy Kreme to 50% off your ride by Lyft and Uber, many freebies and discounts are available for voters. Apart from exercising an important democratic power, you can avail of any limited-time discounts and freebies.

Avail these Election Day 2024 deals at Krispy Kreme, Grubhub, and more

Restaurants and businesses are celebrating Election Day on November 5. As a voter, you get access to exclusive deals and freebies on the following:

1. Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is celebrating the spirit of casting a vote with a sweet treat. The brand took to its Instagram page and noted the offer's details. The caption read:

"Stop by a #krispykreme shop on #electionday for a FREE “I Voted” sticker paired with a FREE Original Glazed® doughnut – 11/5 only!"

The offer is valid only in select participating Krispy Kreme stores and applies only to one customer on November 5.


2. Ride Discounts

Less than 24 hours before election day, businesses like Lyft and Uber are offering exclusive discounts. Lyft is offering 50% off your ride to the voting polls. You can use the code VOTE24 to avail the discount on a rideshare, bikeshare, or scooter ride. Uber is offering a similar discount of up to $10 discount to your polling destination. Additionally, get a rental day free when you rent a car with Hertz, including Election Day.


3. Grubhub

Not one, but Grubhub is offering discounts for a week till November 10. The delivery service business is reducing delivery fees for select restaurants. Some of these include:

  • Starbucks: Get 30% off delivery orders on minimum order of $20.
  • Wendy's: On a minimum order of $25, get a free baconator.
  • KFC: On a minimum order of $25, get $7 off your delivery.
  • Shake Shack: On a minimum order of $25, get a free Smoke Shack cheeseburger.
  • Arby's: Get up to 25% off on orders of $25 and above.
  • Little Caesars: On a minimum order of $25, get a free ExtraMostBestest pizza.

4. Eateries

When you show your 'I Voted' stickers, you can get up to 20% off in-store at BD's Mongolian Grill, Flat Top Grill, Hot Chicken Takeover, Taim Mediterranean Kitchen, The Budlong Southern Chicken, and Genghis Grill. Additionally, as a voter get a free shaker at Johnny Rockets. This offer is available in selected stores and is not valid on Craig's Vegan shakes.


5. Frozen Desserts

Frozen yogurt franchise Yogurtland is giving a 15% discount to customers who come with an 'I Voted' sticker. Additionally, on November 4 and November 5, Andy's Frozen Custard is offering a limited-time delicacy, Cherry Pie Concrete, across 162 of its locations in the US.


Businesses and restaurants are offering these discounts and freebies only for one day. This is being done to encourage voters to vote and exercise their power in choosing the government. Most deals are available only on Election Day, and many are exclusive to voters.
