Aldi, the multinational supermarket chain, has introduced another kitchen equipment to make meal preparation easier. The Crofton food chopper hit the shelves on January 15, 2025, and is only available for a limited time.
Shoppers might find the Crofton food chopper similar to the viral Mueller Austria Vegetable chopper launched in 2024. The kitchen equipment features a simple design with a base container and lid for holding the blade.
With three chopping blades, three grating blades, and two slicing blades, the Mueller Austria product was praised for cutting vegetables like onions, carrots, cucumbers, and zucchini in perfect shapes and sizes.
The Crofton food chopper shares a similar design with the Mueller Austria and comes with a lesser price tag—the former sells for $9.99 while the latter retails for $50 on Amazon.
More details on the Aldi Crofton food chopper
The supermarket chain introduced the food chopper through the Crofton brand, a brand under it that produces kitchen items. Crofton frequently releases similar versions of popular kitchen products like the Stanley Cup, cast iron skillets, and even cookie skillets.
Displayed in the Aldi Finds section—a weekly offering of popular Aldi products, the Crofton food chopper was introduced on January 15, and will be available for only a few more days.
The food chopper comes in different colors and is designed with a chopping blade, another that spirals to chop veggies and fruits, and a blade that slices food items into long and thin sheets. Another perk of using the product is the cleaning tool that takes care of fruits and veggies lodged in the blades.
The chopper also has a container with a holding capacity for over five cups of veggies. To use the Aldi food chopper, push the lid of the container down on your vegetable of choice with any of the blades available. The veggies are cut to your desired shape and fall into the container.
