Nike-owned Jumpman business seems ready to commemorate its 40th anniversary in full swing this year with the anticipated launch of the Air Jordan 12 OG “Taxi” iteration. The forthcoming “Taxi” variant will be clad in White/Black/Taxi makeup. The news of their arrival was recently revealed by a popular insider, @Zsneakerheadz, via its social media handles.
The AJ 12 OG “Taxi” rendition will potentially hit the market sometime during the holiday season of 2025. These sneakers will be dropped in full-family sizing options. The price for an adult set would be around $215 per pair. They will be sold by the Nike locations both online and offline, alongside a bunch of connected sellers.

Nike Air Jordan 12 OG “Taxi” rendition will be offered in the holiday of 2025
The Air Jordan 12 OG “Taxi” variation was originally designed in 1996. This AJ12 colorway then emerged in 2013. Now, in holiday 2025, the Jumpman label will once again rerelease the “Taxi” colorway.
The top of the AJ12 OG “Taxi” variant is mainly fashioned from crisp white tumbled leather, as shown in the pictures released by Zsneakerheadz. The white toe tops are encompassed with bold black mudguards.
The tongue flaps, eyelets, lace sets, and midfoot area all feature white, which is emblazoned with black detailings, mainly branding accents. The Jumpman marking appears on the tongue flap, alongside Michael Jordan’s jersey number 23, horizontally embroidered as “TWO 3.”
The metallic gold eyelets are also placed adjacent to the tongue to offer the basketball shoe an opulent look.
Following this, the black heel counters feature the Jumpman logo, “JORDAN” wording, and Michael’s jersey number 23. Rounding out the shoe is the sole unit, which seems black.
On Nike's website, the following is highlighted regarding the design inspiration and advancement of the Air Jordan 12:
“Released in 1996 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, the AJ 12 debuted in a black and white colorway, with inspiration drawn from the Japanese flag. The design built upon the legendary success of recent Air Jordan releases and took its place among collectors’ favorites. In 1997, the AJ 12 was released in a red colorway, and were later retro-ed in other colors in 2003, 2009, and 2016.”
Anyone interested in the release of the throwback Air Jordan 12 "Taxi" version, like Michael Jordan admirers, should visit the company's website often to receive updates as they become available.
