Jordan Brand presents a throwback edition of the Air Jordan 11 every holiday season.

In December 2024, the Jordan 11 Legend Blue was made available.

This white and blue colorway, once known as Columbia, has remained iconic since Michael Jordan wore them at the 1996 NBA All-Star Game.

Jordan Brand is releasing a football cleat version of the sneaker just two months after the regular version hit stores.

This football cleat Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue features a lower-cut patent leather, which was originally typical of AJ11 retros but has since been dropped in favor of the higher-cut versions of the originals.

This is in contrast to the version that just entered stores.

Release date, where to buy, price

On February 6, 2025, Nike and a few other stores will allegedly debut the Air Jordan 11 Mid TD Cleat Legend Blue and the Air Jordan 11 Mid-MCS Cleat Legend Blue both online and in-store.

The selling price is speculated to be $220. The sneaker will only be available in men's sizes.

Sneaker design

The patent leather mudguard, heel, and smooth leather base layer are all covered in white, maintaining the color blocking from the original.

The Jordan insignia on the tongue and the embroidered Jumpman next to the collar both feature pops of Legend Blue.

Jordan’s number 23 appears on the heel tab, with a white ballistic mesh tongue, a set of white rope laces, and black accents on the sock liner and heel tab rounding out the top.

Below, a cleated tooling setup—one for the baseball diamond (MCS) and one for the football field (TD)—replaces the Jordan 11’s midsole.

The sole unit is the same as the one seen on the Jordan 11 Gratitude cleat from 2024; however, to maintain the classic blue color scheme, the cleated outsole of this pair is finished in an ice-blue hue.

Air Jordan 11 "Bred" Retro makes a comeback in 2025

In 2025, the recognizable "Bred" colorway of the Air Jordan 11 will make a comeback. It will, however, be the Low-top PE that Jordan briefly wore during the 1996 Finals, rather than the Mid-cut style we are all familiar with.

There is photographic evidence of Michael Jordan wearing the low-top Bred 11s during the final series of the 1996 season, although the pictures are few. It was hard to distinguish between the two when watching MJ perform on television due to their similar designs.

Following Jumpman’s tradition of releasing XI Lows in the summer, the Air Jordan 11 Low "Bred" first appeared in 2015.

However, the 2025 model maintains the PE’s all-black interior, whereas the 2015 pair featured a red interior.

A formal release date of April 26, 2025, is anticipated, and all family sizes—from adult to TD sizing—will be confirmed.
