The news of its relaunch was recently unveiled by a famous insider, Zsneakerheadz, using its social media handles.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Shattered Backboard” rendition is set to re-enter the market on July 12, 2025, as per early reports. This basketball sneaker variant will be offered at $180 per pair and will be dropped via Nike’s online and physical locations, alongside select retailers.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Shattered Backboard” isn’t the new colorway. It was originally introduced in 2015. Ever since then, the Jordan brand has offered different versions of this pair by altering the placement of its color scheme.

In 2025, the “Shattered Backboard” variation will commemorate the Jumpman company's 40th anniversary and the shoe's tenth anniversary.

The majority of the upper body is fashioned with high-quality leather. The Starfish hue perforated toe boxes are encompassed with bold black mudguards. These black details then appear on the tongue flaps and the eyelets of the shoe.

Furthermore, these tongues are topped with identical black lace sets. A pop of color is added to the plain tongue in the form of a white and Starfish Nike Air branding tag.

The lateral Swooshes and Air Wing logo on the sides are covered in black. The inner lining of the sneaker is black. Rounding out the pair is the white midsole bonded with the Starfish outer sole unit.

Jordanheads are advised to stay in touch with Nike’s site for updated information on the official launch of the Air Jordan 1 High “Shattered Backboard” variation.

In related news, the 1985 Bred rendition is reportedly going to be part of Jumpman’s 2025 release roster to celebrate its anniversary. The Bred version is expected to be made available on February 14, 2025, with a selling price of $250.
