The second iteration of the much-acclaimed Adidas Originals x 100 Thieves collaboration is all set to release. The 'early access' drop is officially scheduled for November 2, 2024. Initially, the items will be available for purchase only via 100 Thieves' website. From November 6, they will be available for global consumers through the official app and website of Adidas, and other selected retail locations.

This second Adidas Originals x 100 Thieves collaborative collection marks the intersection of the fashion and gaming industry. 100 Thieves, LLC, which was founded by Matthew Haag in 2017, is an American Gaming and Lifestyle company, based in California.

The first partnership collection between the company and Adidas was launched earlier this year. At that time, the launch was well accepted by fans. Since then, the second iteration has been awaited.

Adidas Originals x 100 Thieves

With origins dating back to 2001, Adidas Originals continues Adidas' legacy through contemporary youth culture. In recent years, the brand has extended its reach into lifestyle and gaming through collaborations with influential brands like 100 Thieves.

On the other hand, 100 Thieves, founded by former esports champion Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, has strengthened its ground in the gaming and entertainment industry. The company was initially known for competitive gaming in titles like League of Legends and Call of Duty. In recent years, the brand has hit headlines by high-profile collaborations.

Below is what the official press release by Nike says regarding the second edition of the Adidas Originals x 100 Thieves:

"Having launched their first ever head-to-toe collection earlier this year, adidas Originals and 100 Thieves return this fall to present their latest collaborative offering. The second full collection from the Trefoil and 100 Thieves features an array of apparel, footwear, and accessories that continue to evolve the design language of the partnership: placing bold aesthetics, comfort, and versatility at their core."

It continues:

"Adidas Originals and 100 Thieves have created an extraordinarily limited 16-page zine to accompany their Drop 2 product line. The zine draws inspiration from Japanese streetwear and magazines of the early 2000s, featuring an exclusive photoshoot with 100 Thieves creator Vinnie Hacker and a manga-inspired comic by GOODNEWSFORBADGUYS."

Drop 2 of Adidas Originals x 100 Thieves collection brings a diverse range of apparel, footwear, and accessories. The collection’s highlight is the new Palos Hills sneaker, which is drawn from the Adidas archives. It features some retouches by the 100 Thieves. Two colorways are available for the shoes, black and red.

The black variant sports a black upper, accented by white Adidas stripes and a subtle touch of red on the heel tab. The sneaker features a gum sole. The red colorway, on the other hand, comes with a vivid red upper complemented by the same white stripes. The sole of this colorway is a contrasting black one. Both colorways feature the 100 Thieves’ script logo on the tongue.

The Adidas Originals x 100 Thieves collection also features a long-sleeve jersey. The jersey is darkly hued, with the 100 Thieves and Adidas logo. A heavyweight hooded jacket and carpenter-style pants in black are also parts of this collaborative collection.
