Potstickers are Chinese dumplings made from ground beef and shrimp instead of the usual pork. This recipe calls for raw shrimp, ground beef, minced fresh ginger root, minced shallot, chopped green onions, chopped napa cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, potsticker wrappers, vegetable oil, white sugar, white pepper, and salt to taste.

Step 1 - Make the filling by mixing your finely ground shrimp and ground beef. Add shallot, ginger, green onions, soy source, napa cabbage, sesame oil, white pepper, white sugar, and salt to the mixture and mix thoroughly until they are well blended.

Step 2 - Spread out your potsticker wrapper and dampen the edges with water. Add a little filling in the center and fold into a half-moon shape. Press and seal tightly, ensuring there isn't any extra air before refrigerating.

Step 3 - Heat a large nonstick pan and add oil over medium heat. Put your potstickers flat side down and let them fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown. Turn the potstickers over, pour in water, and cover the pan to let them steam. Open the pan and let the water evaporate. When the wrapper has shrunk down on the filling, you can take them out. Your potstickers are ready!
