The mint julep is a Southern classic, refreshing and so easy to prepare. Fresh mint leaves are muddled in the glass with sugar. Add bourbon, then fill the glass with crushed ice. Stir lightly and finish off with a sprig of fresh mint. Cool, minty flavor meets robust bourbon to make it everybody's whiskey favorite. Mint juleps have been passed from generation to generation; it never gets old as a perfect drink to jazz up any gathering for New Year's Eve.
