13. Take Time for Reflection

You should spend the day thinking about the past year and contemplating your goals for the next. Writing in a journal, meditation, or simply sitting silently will connect you with your thoughts. Reflection helps you appreciate how much you have done so far and sets a good tone for the year ahead. You can even reflect on the meaning of Christmas and what the season means to you personally. Taking time for introspection will give you a clear and peaceful state and be fulfilling to spend the day alone.
