It was also reported by Tim Clarkins, a professor of marketing at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management that ''Most ads were in development during last fall's U.S. presidential election race, so avoiding controversy was even more of a priority than usual.''

This year's Super Bowl LIX Doritos commercial was themed ''Abduction,'' which was basically a tug-of-war between a man and an alien. Here, the alien tries to steal the Doritos packet from a human through a spaceship tractor beam, but the hungry man doesn't give up on his chips. It ends with the man and alien becoming friends and bonding over the nacho cheese chips.

This ad featured Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, and Ludacris as Tej Parker. It was a fun twist on The Fast and the Furious, imagining how things would be if the fast became slow.

As Dom and Letty speed across in a convertible, Letty takes a bite of the Häagen-Dazs ice cream bar, and suddenly, everything slows down - the music, the car, and even Dom's mood. Tej races past, utterly confused, and asks them ''“What happened to fast life?” but Dom and Letty remain unbothered. The ad was simple yet kept the attendees entertained.
