The Australian Grand Prix was an eventful and chaotic affair, with McLaren's Lando Norris coming up trumps against Red Bull's Max Verstappen, beating him to the finish line by 0.8 seconds in a closely fought contest. He is known as 'Mad Max' and his streams are a riot, with him shouting at virtual cars even as his Dutch accent thickens with every lap. Lando Norris is also a YouTuber and he seems like a normal guy until you hear him going on a rant against pineapple on pizza for an hour!
Naturally, when news broke out of Lando winning the thing, fans were quick to catch wind of the situation and steer the conversation in an entirely different direction altogether: Twitch vs YouTube. This had the internet in splits as users took turns to express their amazement at the hilarity of the situation:

With a profile like that, who could blame the fans? Anybody could've been fooled into believing that this was a full-time Twitch streamer and not the next Australian Grand Prix winner.

Max Verstappen vs Lando Norris is a rivalry we never knew we needed. After last season's intense battles, they even joked about having a pub fight, much to the amusement of the netizens. It could blossom into a rivalry that will define the next generation or it could mark the beginning of the cultural wars of YouTube vs Twitch. Who knows! But one thing is guaranteed: chaos!
