Burger King had people shocked on October 14, 2024, when the fast food restaurant chain announced the launch of an all-new 'Big Dip.' The savory condiment was created in partnership with Hidden Valley Ranch and joined the menu on October 16.

Unlike the chain's regular condiments, the Big Dip comes in an 8-ounce cup to ensure guests can easily dunk a whole sandwich in the zesty deliciousness. It is exclusively available at select locations across Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and more.

The condiment was expected to cater to BK and Hidden Valley Ranch lovers but triggered an unexpected response. Netizens couldn't help being shocked by the idea of the giant dipping sauce and were seen mocking it on X as they tweeted:

"Would you like a burger with your giant tub of ranch?" — Burger King marketing meetings, probably"

Some other X users who seemed uncomfortable about the 8-ounce Hidden Valley Ranch condiment cup tweeted:

"An extra large ranch dipping cup ? Burger Kíng doing anything 💀," said one user.
"Lmao. “Now at Burger King, half a bottle of ranch dressing!," joked another user.
"Hidden valley been hiding too much inventory," asked one user sarcastically.

The internet flak seemed to have no end as the Big Dip ranch continued to receive critical responses and mocking:

“America has a weight problem” Burger Kíng: “yeah, the problem is we’re not fat enough,” said one user.
"For free? they couldn’t pay me enough to eat that," asked another user.
"🤦‍♂️Here’s 1200 calories of Ranch Dressing to dress up that boring grilled chicken sandwich," critiqued one X user.
"None of this would be necessary if Burger King would simply stop cremating their beef patties," said one user.

Burger King started serving 'Big Dip' on October 16, 2024
