Mayhem hit the internet as X crashed nearly four times around the world on March 10, leaving its users stranded without their daily fix of memes, arguments, and unbridled late-night rants. With more than 2,500 reports of outages at its peak, the Elon Musk-owned platform had many questioning if they had finally been ratioed by sheer bad luck.

Elon Musk said it was a cyberattack, but come on - most everyone just freaked out, refilled their feeds 50 times, and momentarily thought about getting in touch with grass. Of course, the X outrage was boisterous, melodramatic, and, naturally, hilarious!

As soon as the news went out someone (@EdosaOsaretin) took to his X account and commented:

"Who's counting though ?"

One of the users on X quipped about keeping count, and really, at this point, who isn't? After X went down four times, folks were essentially treating the outages like breaking news - refreshing around the clock, complaining about it, and arguing over whether this was finally a sign to log off.

But as soon as the app was back up, all was forgotten, and the doomscrolling recommenced like nothing ever occurred! With X going down four times, the internet had a lot to say - and, naturally, the responses were comedy gold.

From over-the-top meltdowns to crazy conspiracy theories, users made their frustration into entertainment gold.

Some pretended they'd been banished from civilization, while others celebrated the chaos with memes and sarcasm. Let's take a look at the best fan reactions to this digital rollercoaster!
