If there's something strange, in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? D.O.G.E busters. There is panic in the United States because Elon Musk's task force is here to rid the country of the evils of society. But that's not all the organization is famous for, there is one more reason, 'Big Balls'.

Let's take a step back before you think this is dirty wordplay. In January this year, Elon Musk established a temporary organization called the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E). It is not a cabinet-level department and doesn't require approval from the Congress.

The organization aims to reduce unnecessary and false government spending and eliminate excessive regulations. So, what does 'Big Balls' have to do with all this? No, it's not wordplay to show how courageous the organization is in challenging the Government. 'Big Balls' is a person.

Who is 'Big Balls'?

Edward Coristine, or 'Big Balls' as he is known on the internet, is a 19-year-old technologist who is part of Elon Musk's D.O.G.E. In addition to his unusual internet moniker, his past has caught everyone's attention.

Coristine is a high school graduate who has started five different companies in the last four years. Although, most of them aren't listed on his LinkedIn page. He was known as 'Big Balls' on his LinkedIn page, a page that doesn't exist anymore since his role in the USAID incident came to light.

He founded Tesla.Sexy LLC, when he was 16, which manages web domains, many of which are registered in Russia. Now, managing Russian domains isn't a problem in the United States but it can only cause a problem in security clearance.

Now all this might not ring any alarm bells for anyone but this next one might. In 2022, he was hired by Path Network, a company known for hiring ex-hackers.

DOGE vs. USAID

You might be wondering why is the internet suddenly obsessed with big balls, the answer is simple. On Saturday everything started normally, the air was fresh, and the weather was perfect. Then suddenly winds shifted in Washington D.C. Outside the USAID headquarters was a group of young vigilantes ready to bust every criminal activity.

The group known as the 'Doge Kids' entered the USAID office and demanded access to the offices including the SCIF, a secure room containing classified documents. One of the group members was Edward Coristine. This young gun and his diminutive instantly caught the eye of the internet and became a meme favorite.

As the group went from office to office searching for something suspicious, they kept demanding access to the SCIF. When the officials rejected their request they did what all angry young men do. They called their dad. One of them dialled Elon Musk who threatened the staff with the involvement of U.S Marshals Services.

Eventually, they were pacified with some of the information they wanted but it sparked a debate about whether they had the necessary security clearance. Their behavior also received significant backlash. But criticism or not, in the end, it's safe to say that Edward stood true to his name.
