Horror fans gather around! Move over, Cinderella—there’s a new nightmare in town, and fans are wondering if it will feature a questionable pair of glass slippers. The buzz became wild when the first trailer for Emilie Blichfeldt’s The Ugly Stepsister hit the internet.
Let’s just say, if you thought getting ghosted was scary, wait till you see the scary reimagining of Cinderella. Fans are failing to keep it calm about this absurdly terrifying (and somehow hilarious) twist on the classic fairytale and they are bombarding the comment section with bizarre horror plots for the upcoming movie.

Just when we thought we saw it all on the bizarre movie plot 101 list, April 18th adds one more surprising entrant. Now, speaking of Blichfeldt, famously known for her offbeat, genre-bending storytelling, has again struck the horror chords with parts camp, body horror, and social satire.
Netizens got all creative to imagine which scenarios can be considered utterly chaotic and terrifying in a fairy tale realm. Of course, if we are talking of fairy tales, it has to concern long hairs or a pair of glass slippers. Regular rants of morning coffee gone wrong (even though it's scarier than seeing a ghost upfront), do not qualify as a scary Cinderella movie plot.
Some guessed that getting ready to go out on a date with a charming prince and not finding the perfect fit of glass slippers could be utterly terrifying while others imagined fairy Godmother to be devilishly terrifying in this movie.
Imagine a terrifying plot where the fairy Godmother herself turns into a green goblin-like villain, scary right? But that is what the genre is known for. Just when you thought you knew what's gonna happen in the movie, the movie may slap you with unexpected twists and outta nowhere jump scares.

Cinderella said, “No fairy godmother, just vibes and vengeance”
Whether this movie leaves a long-lasting fairy tale trauma or be another movie to be hyped up more than it shows for, is a question of the future, We are hopeful for a good bone-chilling tale and we'll let the audience decide on the skeptic eye rolls. Meanwhile, enjoy the humor while it lasts with a bag of chips!
