Twitch streamer and content creator Zack Hoyt, better known as Asmongold, has officially left his media organization, One True King (OTK). He founded the company along with Mizkif, Esfand, Rich Campbell, and Tips Out.

The organization is known for gaming, streaming, and content creation. It is known for competing professionally in World of Warcraft. OTK seemed to be an introvert's ultimate dream. Sitting in your room all day, playing your favorite games, and getting rich while doing so.

Hoyt seemed like every wannabe gamer's greatest influence and One True King for them. His success on YouTube and Twitch made him a poster boy for PC gaming and World of Warcraft. But just like nothing lasts forever, neither did his tenure at the media organization.

After making some political comments online, he did what every member of any organization does for damage control. He stepped down from the position and let go of all his interest in the OTK. He even stepped away from OTK's subsidiary, Starforge Systems.

Why did Asmongold leave OTK?

After taking Twitch and the gaming world by storm, fans finally found out that Asmongold wasn't the one true king after all after it was announced that he left the organization.

The move came after he remarked on Palestine being affected by the Israel-Hamas War. After the UN condemned the massive number of casualties caused by Israel's air strikes on northern Gaza, Asmongold decided to give his two cents on the matter.

His comments suggested that he didn't feel any sympathy for the Palestinians killed in the genocide.

"my bad."

He added;

"Of course no one deserves to have their life destroyed even if they do things or have views I find regressive."

He was even suspended from Twitch after a video of him referring to the Palestinians as coming from an "inferior culture" was circulated. He later apologized for his remarks on X and wrote:

I'll do better."
