Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) made headlines again and this time the rumor is that DJ Khaled could be included in the game. Yes, the record producer and DJ could be showing his face at a radio station close to your virtual holiday car.
The genesis of this rumor is a tweet. Nothing gets the internet more worked up than a cryptic tweet from a "credible source." @TheGhostofHope, a CoD leaker, took the rumors one step further by positing that DJ Khaled might have his own radio station in GTA 6.
But don't forget one teeny tiny little thing—Rockstar Games hasn't said a word. As per usual, they're letting the internet run wild.
Users soon poured fun commentary into the already chaotic mix. The internet stays undefeated when it comes to GTA delays. As is the tradition with GTA posts, one user stated:
"No way we got Hope GTA leaks before GTA 6"
Another dissed:
"Oh god, why. I hope they make a parody of him, then again he's already a walking parody."
One user said:
"We literally get the radio station announcement before GTA 6"
A user stated:
"Haunting your dreams when you actually sleep.. 'anotha one'"
One user mentioned:
"So endless rounds of hearing him shout DJ KHALED. No thanks."
Imagine trying to stealth in the game, only to hear that blaring in your ears.
The people demand control over their in-game radio experience. Another comment read:
"The time has come to let us launch our own stations on the game."
Rockstar's tradition of celebrity DJs
Celebrity DJs in GTA aren't new. Kenny Loggins, DJ Pooh, Pam Grier, Frank Ocean, Cara Delevingne – they're already in Rockstar radio history.
Dr. Dre also made an appearance in GTA Online, releasing new song tracks. So Khaled entering the mix wouldn't be the strangest thing to ever occur.
Also, DJ Khaled is Miami to the core, and since GTA 6 has promised to bring us back to Vice City—Rockstar's interpretation of Florida—it's a union made in neon paradise.
Other rumored artists for GTA 6

DJ Khaled won't be the first celebrity to be reported to be included in GTA 6. ScHoolboy Q stated his songs may make the cut, and T-Pain simply confirmed he worked on a project with Rockstar.
So now it's actually just a case of who is going to be yelling at us through our in-game radios.
Be careful—it's merely a rumor
But let's not jump the gun here. Rockstar cherishes its secrets above all else. Until they make a public announcement, it's all just super duper internet speculation.
That said, the buildup is real.
GTA 6 will arrive in stores in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and it's bringing us back to Vice City and its homelands of Leonida—essentially mock Florida, but with more gang violence and fewer theme parks.
The game will feature Lucia, a newly paroled convict, and her boyfriend, who we don't think will be encountering too much of the law on the right side.
The possibilities of DJ Khaled in GTA 6
Now dream big for a moment. If Khaled is in the game, what if he is something more than a voice on the radio?
Perhaps he arrives on a quest to assist you in recovering a hijacked hard drive containing unreleased tracks.
Or perhaps he's been controlling Vice City's underbelly the entire time and providing us with cryptic hints in his catchphrases.
Either way, if this rumor proves to be true, you can be sure GTA 6's in-game radio is going to be louder, more motivational, and at least 50% more blessed up than ever.
And what if it is a lie? At least we got to fantasize about a world where "We the Best" rumbles through Vice City streets.
