Travis Scott performed at Coachella 2025 last night.
The rapper was set to play on two Saturdays — April 12 and April 19. His performance was to begin at 11:40 PM on the Main Stage, immediately after Green Day completed their show. However, the rapper reportedly arrived late for his performance.
He started at approximately 12:01 AM, but by that time, most of the fans were upset.
Meanwhile, netizens waited patiently and entertained themselves by creating jokes and memes on the internet. Social media was filled with amusing comments regarding Travis Scott's delay.
The majority of the posts conveyed the same sentiment — that people were annoyed because of having to wait and had other work to do tomorrow.
Posting a hilarious GIF, a user said:
"Leave it to Travis Scott to be late."
A user @Johnyyzito decalred:
"The day Travis Scott isn't late for a concert is the day the world will evolve."
A user @Sim3626 hilariously noted:
"Someone said Travis is late bc they fixing the autotune 😂"
One user @Jeremyirvine posted:
"Travis Scott is 13 minutes late. Somewhere in the desert, a cactus just lit a blunt and said “he’ll be here when the moon tells him to.”"
A user said:
"If travis scott doing all this just to playing f**k a** fein on repeat i’m not gonna be alright."
Eventually, Travis arrived on the stage. During his performance, he sang hits from his records UTOPIA, ASTROWORLD, and Rodeo, with some cover hits.
He performed hit songs like FE!N, HYAENA, SICKO MODE, 90210, and Antidote. He even performed covers of hits like Aye by Lil Uzi Vert and Praise God by Ye.
This was his first return to Coachella since 2017. He also created a unique experience titled Designs the Desert close to the Sonora Tent, reports The Sentinel.
This is how a user thinks Travis performed at Coachella 2025. This is definitely the Yeah Yeah rendition of FE!N.
"Travis Scott in Coachella: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, wha, yeah, yeah. Lets go, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"
Apparently, there was simply too much smoke on the stage to be able to see anything at all, and users were even making jokes about that. A user stated:
"People at Coachella: Just saw Travis Scott. What they actually saw:"
This one user is probably not good with FOMO. Sharing a hilarious GIF, the user wrote:
"Travis scott preforming skeletons and i’m not there."
Travis fans were seemingly happy with the entire performance and appreciated their favourite artist, through memes, of course.
One user provided a visual depiction of how the artist must have felt after this year's Coachella performance.
"Travis Scott leaving coachella after that set"
Another user added:
"How I feel rn watching Travis Scott’s set with all the fire and shit."
But not everyone was a fan of it. Some users took to social media to say that the performance was not giving and the crowd was dead.
"That Travis Scott set at Coachella was so bad… and so dark, the orchestra couldn’t even see the conductor and they sounded a mess because of it."
Another user said:
"Travis Scott not saying “houston make some motherf***** noise” while performing stargazing."
A user declared:
"This Travis Scott set is not giving at all."
A user @sweetenerended stated:
"That Travis Scott Coachella set was lowkey a mess…. I love him so much but it was not the best. Looking forward to weekend 2 tho!!!"
The artist is also going to perform again at Coachella 2025 on April 19. This would be his second performance this year at the music festival.
