Guys, he's done it again! MrBeast has officially announced a casting call for Beast Games Season 2 with an even bigger pool prize than before, with 15 million dollars up for grabs for the contestants of this mind-bogglingly absurd show. Just when you discount him, just when you think he's reached the end of the rope, MrBeast comes roaring back!

The news has spread like wildfire on the internet, with fans coming out in droves to put in their hats for getting the opportunity to participate in the show. For those of you uninitiated, Beast Games is the brainchild of MrBeast, wherein competitors participate in increasingly absurd challenges that would make even the most seasoned thrill-seeker question their life choices. At the end of it all, the winner banks a cool sum of $5 million (increased to $15 million for Season 2).

Fans lose their heads upon the announcement of Beast Games Season 2

Unsurprisingly, the internet went bonkers upon hearing the announcement of Beast Games Season 2. The move totally came out of the blue, especially considering the controversies that Season 1 was mired in. But all was lost and forgiven amongst the fans as they readied their horses to go into war. There was complete euphoria on the internet as fans threw their hats into the rings.

As we saw in Beast Games Season 1, team-building challenges such as Three in a Box and Bribes were also an essential part of the show. This also led to situations where loyalty and cooperation were put to the test. Invariably, this led to a few disgruntled players who felt they were betrayed. One user (@Capsizing__) pointed out what's to come hilariously:

"Some more betrayal and heart breaks to come".

Watching the participants go through the grind of trivia games, obstacle courses, and whatever else MrBeast's twisted mind conjured up was like watching a nature documentary, but with a lot more chaos and fun. That is why the show amassed a huge following in such a short period. Fans could barely control their excitement and wanted to punch in their ticket to the showcase at the earliest:

Beast Games is like a mashup of "Squid Game" and "The Hunger Games," but with more cash and fewer dystopian vibes. Of course, with Beast Game being such a big success at the first instance, there were bound to be comparisons with other games as well.

"MrBeast really running the most ethical Squid Game simulation. Y’all signing up or nah?", quipped another fan (via X / @yipfella)

The biggest point of difference from the earlier season is the prize money, which has been increased to stratospheric heights. $5 million in itself was enough to buy a small island or at least get a lifetime supply of those air fryers everyone seems to be obsessed with these days. But $15 million? That's sweet. Fans were awfully chuffed about it and didn't seem to hide their excitement at the prospect:

The lines for the auditioning part really are going to stretch all the way to Mars!

It wasn't just the fans who were gleeful at the announcement, there was also someone else who'd have been dancing at the news, as one fan pointed out. The officers must be having a party right now, it's going to be a busy couple of weeks for them.

"Let's hope the IRS doesn't win again last time they took so much money.", joked the fan (via X / @batspider1016)

Beast Games is a hilarious, albeit slightly bewildering, spectacle. It's a show that will leave you questioning the sanity of its contestants and the genius of MrBeast. Why do people willingly play these games when they cause stress, rage, and occasional existential dread? Scientists have studied this phenomenon and concluded that gamers are insane. But beyond that, the satisfaction of finally conquering a beastly challenge must really be unmatched.

So, if you're ready for a thrill ride that's part game show, part social experiment, then strap yourself in and enjoy the chaos!
