The first teaser for the highly anticipated 2025 film HIM — a horror movie produced by Jordan Peele, directed by Justin Tipping, and starring Tyriq Withers and Marlon Wayans — was released by Universal Pictures on Friday. The film follows a college quarterback who gets pulled into a sinister world by his idol, testing how far he’s willing to go and what he’s willing to sacrifice for fame.

Set to hit theaters on September 19, the teaser has already left fans buzzing with excitement, eager to see what mind-bending story Jordan Peele and his studio have in store this time.

Hilarious Fan Reactions on the HIM teaser

Fans had a lot of hilarious things to say about the new HIM teaser and wasted no time flooding the internet with their reactions, memes, and wild theories.

"This is The Substance for dudes," @realonx1 pointed.

A film about a man doing whatever it takes, no matter how dark or twisted, to reach the top? So, according to this user, HIM is basically The Substance for dudes.

"Horror movie or documentary," wondered another user, @CharlesJCrypto.

Someone, please clarify - is this a horror film or a documentary? Because on one hand, it looks like it’s about demons...and on the other, fans are convinced it might just be a Patrick Mahomes documentary.

The NFL has to be losing its mind after seeing the HIM teaser - because either the filmmakers have it all wrong about what it takes to reach the top, or they just exposed the league’s biggest, best-kept secret!

"More demons - what an original idea..." @DiGiTaLiDiOt42 wrote.

Looks like this fan has officially had enough of demons in movies and shows. Let’s hope the teaser was just talking about inner demons this time!

"Not sure WTF I just watched… but it’s Peele… so I’m in," commented another fan, @UncleDemi.

You know you’ve built a loyal fanbase when people admit they didn’t understand a thing from the teaser, but still can’t wait to watch the film. Well done, Jordan Peele!

The first teaser for HIM has definitely left fans hyped and their interest piqued. Luckily, they won’t have to wait too long, as the film hits theaters on September 19, 2025.
