Did you see the cast announcement for Avengers: Doomsday? It’s absolutely massive—reportedly even Rebecca Romijn is in it! The lineup is so huge that it feels like if a Marvel character was ever created but never got their moment, they’re finally making their debut in this film.
Every Marvel franchise, be it Avengers (obviously), Fantastic Four, and the X-Men, which makes a total of half a million people, will come together to fight ONE villain. Among the half a million movie stars is Rebecca Romijn, who will reprise her role as the shape-shifting mutant Mystique.
Marvel announced the cast in the most riveting way: They live-streamed empty chairs one by one, revealing the name of each cast member. It looked like the most thrilling game of musical chairs. Everyone from Chris Hemsworth to Paul Rudd, Vanessa Kirby, and Pedro Pascal is set to star in Marvel's magnum opus.
Also, watching RDJ trade his Iron Man suit for the villainous Dr Doom costume will be wicked to watch. All the expectations were already high, and now the cast announcement has taken it to another level.
Among the names was Rebecca Romijn, who is set to reprise her role as Mystique. She charmed everyone in the original X-Men trilogy and will now charm a whole new generation alongside her X-Men costars, Patrick Stewart, Alan Cumming and Ian McKellen.
