Why did Sony PlayStation reject Seth Rogen's request?
Now that Seth Rogen revealed that Sony doesn't want their console to be part of their film, the question in your mind must be: why did Sony reject his request?
Well, it seems like it all stemmed down to the era of Superbad. When the film was released, companies were hell bent on making their brands "family-friendly" and Rated G, so when Superbad was released during that period, they saw that the film might somewhat be a bad influence on the young ones. In addition, Jonah Hill's character, Seth, was so rude and bad in Sony's eyes that as a compromise, they let Michael Cera's character, Evan, play their console!
Seth Rogen's revelation about Sony PlayStation in Superbad is so funny and somewhat surprising because it's quite ironic that the console finds one of the characters vile, but they have video games that are graphic and have multiple vile villains too.
