A delicious Arby's takeaway is all that many of us need at the end of a hectic day! Taste might be subjective, but sometimes a quirky marketing team can fetch the hype a brand needs. Arby's mocking an unsatisfied customer had sparked amusement across X. So what ignited the act?

An X user posted a photo of an Arby’s takeaway bag pointing out the old Twitter logo. He suggested Arby’s replace the logo with the new X one. However, things went south and he didn't get the kind of attention he expected from followers.

How dare they~ A user commented in a sarcastic tone.

Another user dropped a photoshopped image replacing the old logo with Elon Musk's portrait.

They've got enough problems to deal with already, and you're the only one who ever noticed. ~ A netizen defended the food joint.

However, the Greg vs Arby banter reached its peak when the company's official X-handle poked fun at the OP.

The Internet reacts to Arby's getting back at the customer's concerns

Wish I was Greg (via lolnooonono/X)

Maybe being Greg is the final option to get noticed by our favorites. Negative attention is still attention. He added:

Hey please put the orange dreamsicle milkshake on the permanent menu thanks

Dawn of a new friendship (via Reignsisab/X)

Loneliness takes people to places they won't go without a parody account, I guess. Arby's turned out to be friendlier than expected and replied:

hey arby's I like ur food pls reply i'm lonely

The return of Greg (via greg16676935420/X)

The OP was back with a comeback and stated he didn't mind being 'the guy' for pointing out facts.

Thanks for always being that guy ~ Arby's replied

However, as per the thread, they settled the beef over a sandwich!

Who eats at Arby's? (via pablonjelly/X)

We aren't sure about the answer, but Greg surely does! Asking the brand about their sales is wild, right?

We’re disappointed in you Pablo ~ Arby's responded

Marketing done right (via fountain_jeff/X)

Arby's followers understood the assignment. Regardless of the ways, the social media team deserves incentives after the 'campaign.'

We can’t wait to see you! ~ Arby's commented

Potato cakes (via bobdole08923509/X)

Potato cakes are a fan favorite. The X-user has their priorities sorted. Many don't care about the logo, but the signature dish.

Arby's social media team managed to create a buzz on the internet with their nonchalant, blunt approach. After all these years, it turns out that diplomacy isn't the only way to win customers' hearts. And the irony is, the banter over the X logo has taken place on the platform itself!
