Rejoice gaming fans, as the Undertaker is about to rise from the dead once more to grace us with his presence in Fortnite, along with Cody Rhodes. Rumors are rife that both the WWE superstars are about to swap the madness of a WWE ring to step right into a craze-filled Fortnite Battle Royale. Familiar territory for both of them, you'd think- with both being Royal Rumble winners from the past.

Fortnite's latest rumored addition sends fans into a frenzy

Fortnite has been on a collaboration spree recently, with many fictional and not-so-fictional characters making their debuts in the game. The latest- The Deadman and The American Nightmare joining the roster seems like a scarcely believable event yet was entirely predictable at the same time!

Fans had been waiting with bated breaths to see The Phenom join the chaotic world of Fortnite and it seems like their prayers didn't go unanswered- The Undertaker is reportedly about to trade his casket for some sniper rifles and pickaxes. The fact that we are getting Cody as a bonus only sweetens the deal.

The video game's roster is growing absurder by the second - from anime characters to pop star icons, from singers to streamers and even wrestlers, the roster truly reads like a fever dream. Some fans decided to poke fun at Epic Games for turning the game into a collaboration extravaganza:

"Fortnite slowly becoming the Smash Bros of everything", joked one fan (via X / @SoulboundTV).
"Tryna be clash of clans", mocked another (via X / @Grrted).

The rumor was so absurd that it sent the fans into delirium. As soon as the news came out, fans began speculating about the skins and pickaxes that the two WWE icons would get. Internet became a bedlam of chaos as fans ran wild with speculation:

"Undertaker gonna be griddying or twerking after you get eliminated", joked one fan (via X / @wrestleroller).
"Undertaker will keep spawning", quipped another (via X / @wuthappened_).

Another fan, still in disbelief at the supposed crossover, let out a cry for Teddy Long:

"Bro the undertaker???? Where tf is teddy long lmaooo im bouta be putting MFS in caskets"

Netizens reveled in the chaos as they debated the signature moves that The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes might get. While many pleaded for The Undertaker's urn to be brought back, others demanded that his gimmick be used to its full potential by naming his mystic ability 'Rest In Peace'. The possibilities for the crossover left the fans in a tizzy even as the requests kept pouring in:

"If stone cold comes to Fortnite I will be drinking beer and giving stunners non stop", quipped one fan (via X / @toredown307).
"Tell fortnite to put Cody Rhodes theme song as a jam track", one fan chimed in (via X / @thedarkvortex13).

Although the rumors are yet to be confirmed, The Deadman and Cody Rhodes joining the team could be the kind of unhinged brilliance that sparks new life into the game. If the rumors do come true, fans are certainly in for a ride. One fan in particular was so thrilled by the potential crossover of watching the Undertaker and Sabrina Carpenter in the same ring that he busted a gut laughing:

"The Undertaker will face his greatest opponent, Sabrina Carpenter."

Forget him fighting his half-brother Kane or The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, The Deadman squaring off against the pop icon will give us the idea of his true strength!

The Undertaker and Cody joining Fortnite feels like the natural next step in the game’s quest to absorb every corner of pop culture. The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes, with their flair for the dramatic, just happen to be the ideal choice to carry that gimmick into the Battle Royale.

Love or hate the collab, once the gong strikes, its lights out for the rest of the characters!
