Justin Bieber steps back into the limelight, and this time, it's not for a new song or trending livestream. The pop star shocked followers on Instagram as he revealed he's officially saying goodbye to Drew House, the fashion label he launched with Ryan Good in 2018.

On Thursday, in an Instagram story (which was deleted later), Justin Bieber posted a screenshot of Drew House's official account and insisted that he's no longer associated with the brand. He wrote:

"I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn’t represent me or my family or life. If your rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don’t waste ur money on Drew House."

Yet, on Friday, Justin Bieber took things to another level of symbolism by sharing an AI-animated video where he walked into a house full of Drew House merchandise, lit a match, and walked away nonchalantly as the place went up in flames.

Outside, biding time in the radiance of a new dawn, were Hailey Bieber and their son Jack Blues in a stroller, awaiting the next act, presumably one with fewer hoodies and more intrigue.

The video ended with the title SKYLRK appearing on the screen, which had fans scratching their heads and meme makers running to their editing software.

Whether it's a rebrand, a mysterious message, or simply an over-the-top departure from a fashion brand, the fact is clear: Bieber's not so much closing the Drew House door as burning it to the ground on his way out.

As soon as the news came out, someone (@MadamMarie) took to his X account and commented:

“the human JB”

When Justin Bieber's followers supported "the human Justin Bieber," the internet did what it does best — made it a comedy goldmine. One astute user on X let drop the phrase "the human JB," and with that, a new meme genre was born.

The internet, of course, instantly meme-d and hot took, as everybody scrambled to attempt to divine what this portends for the future of Bieber, as well as his streetwear empire. A reset? A rebranding? Or just standard weird Bieber energy? Regardless, Instagram had never seemed soapier.

Suddenly, it's like we're in a sci-fi movie where Justin's been a hologram this whole time and is now asking to be seen as a sentient being with feelings, not just flawless skin and a hoodie line.

With Justin Bieber trending again, fans have started crafting lore around 'the human JB' like he's a Marvel Phase 7 character, part man, part mystery, all vibes.

The moment Justin Bieber declared he was leaving Drew House, the internet had no problem doing what it loves to do best — turning the moment into a meme explosion.

The fans flooded the comments with jokes, wild theories, and extreme edits, while others just seemed to comment for the sake of commenting. Context? Who cares? Clarity? Never heard of it. It wasn't so much about fashion as it was about bragging about their best one-liner in the comments.

Netizens react to Justin Bieber’s exit from Drew House

Some people leaped into the comments section like it was a competitive sport, armed with jokes, puns, and absolutely nothing to do with context. It didn't matter what Justin wrote, they were going to make it funny.

Some probably didn't even read the post. They just caught the wind of chaos and clicked 'reply.' Honestly, it's less about the news and more about being first to deliver the punchline.

"He’s calling himself a bot?" a user @zouthflorida hilariously commented.
"this the most passive aggresive "we're done here" ive ever seen," another user @hyunnie_hunny commented.
"He’s aparting ways with everyone," a netizen @LiljayUgc sarcastically expressed.

Others spammed the comments section like they work there — no context, no idea, just energy and wisecracks. They just didn't care about what was happening as long as they had a good one in.

It's not right or wrong, it's just being hilarious first. To be honest, some of these comments are like watching improv night over Wi-Fi. People are comparing Justin Bieber with Kanye West to make the whole scenario funnier:

"it’s giving kanye level crashout," a user @wristb3nt commented.
"his kanye moment," another user @yeehawsarahh wrote.
"He’s the next Kanye," a netizen @swiftsttt sarcastically quipped.

The peanut gallery arrived boisterous, disorganized, and totally caffeinated, spinning jokes like they were trying out for a stand-up routine. They had no idea what was happening but that never held anyone back before.

It's less informed commentary and more neutral chaos energy with a twist. Wherever there is a comment box, the peanut gallery will be there to flood it:

"alright its getting weird," a user @noellewes123 commented.
"he doesn’t own his own brand," another user @SatyamInsights1 hilariously commented.
"everyone has already forgotten this brand for centuries so it doesn’t matter," another netizen @punk4princess sarcastically commented.

What is Drew House? All you need to know about Justin Bieber's clothing brand

Drew House is what happens when a global pop phenomenon decides to trademark his middle name, throw on some extra-large hoodies, slap a smiley face on, and go about with it as a lifestyle.

The brand, co-founded by Justin Bieber and longtime stylist Ryan Good, started in December of 2018 with $4.99 hotel slippers because nothing is more high-end than looking like you didn't know you were still there. While Justin had already (and unsuccessfully) tried to trademark 'Drew' before twice, for jewelry in 2012 and clothing in 2015, the third time was evidently the close charm.

Thanks to Italian illustrator Gian Piero, whose smiley-face logo has you wondering if it's fashion or a passive-aggressive emoji. Drew House doesn't even feature Bieber on its site, opting instead for a vibe that screams: Wear like you don't care.

The site's message basically seems to say, "blah blah blah come chill, k bye," which is either genius marketing or someone's intern got a little too laid-back. From smiley slippers and socks to snowboards and dog collars, Drew House is now the go-to brand for followers who would want to wear as if they accidentally tumbled into a laundry basket and made it stylish.

Justin Bieber crashed out and confronted the paparazzi just before the day of his exit from Drew House

Justin Bieber woke in Palm Springs and determined it was not at all a good morning, particularly if you were clutching a camera. Only one day after going on the record with an animated video in which he burned his clothing line Drew House to the ground in good dramatic style, Bieber had his angry oaths captured on camera as he yelled at paparazzi outside a cafe.

As one photographer brightly wished him "Good morning," Justin retorted:

"No! Not good morning!"

It's an answer most of us save for Mondays or paper jams.

With one arm halfway out of his hoodie as if he were mid-costume switch, Bieber strode over to the crowd and began a surprisingly rhythmic diatribe against capitalism:

"Money, money, money, money, money."

It is not clear if he was lecturing them or trying out for a remix of his own hit.

Then, with a flourish of attitude from someone whose name is in the trending conversation for all the wrong reasons, he dismissed them:

"You don't care about human beings."

In other words, Bieber's been having one this week, first setting his fashion empire ablaze (metaphorically), and now going fully anti-paparazzi pontificator prior to his first cup of morning coffee.

After exiting Drew House, Justin Bieber tried to FaceTime call Stevie Wonder

Following the smoky theatrics of Drew House bursting into animated flames, Justin Bieber has resurfaced, this time trading fire for FaceTime and clothing for full-on foolishness.

In an Instagram story now trending wildly, Justin Bieber shared a picture of himself looking like he just found free fries at McDonald's during a mid-FaceTime call with none other than Stevie Wonder.

Well, kind of spoiler alert: Stevie didn't pick up. At all. The screen was emptier than Justin Bieber's closet after the Drew House breakup. Whether it was a missed call or Stevie respectfully swiping left with legendary poise, fans moved quickly to turn the moment into meme gold. Justin Bieber wrote:

"This fool never sees my facetimessss."

Theorists on X are currently arguing everything from Stevie ghosting Justin Bieber intentionally, to a complicated time zone mix-up, to Stevie being 'mysteriously unavailable' (aka, just in vibe mode with no Wi-Fi).

No matter what the truth turns out to be, Justin Bieber's solo FaceTime epic is providing the internet with a new comedy library, and providing us all with the enthusiasm of that one friend who continues sending voice messages to someone who hasn't answered since 2022.

And just like that, Justin Bieber moonwalks out of Drew House as if it were a group project he had forgotten that he had enrolled in. One day, he is creating smiley-face slippers, the next he is setting his animated fashion empire ablaze and riding off into the influencer sunset with Hailey and baby Jack as if it is the season finale of Keeping Up With the Biebers.

Whether it's burning his own name, FaceTiming Stevie Wonder into the abyss, or reprimanding paparazzi like a dude who just really wanted to have an oat milk latte in peace, Justin Bieber's departure has it all: Drama, merch, and just a dash of pandemonium.

But hey, if this is the Drew era come to a close, at least it went out the way all great celebrity brands must, bafflingly, on Instagram, and with memes.
