We all know that Wes Anderson's films are quirky, colorful, and fun to watch but hit hard to our feels, and The Phoenician Scheme is no different from his previous films!

Touted as an espionage film, The Phoenician Scheme revolves around a rich father and his daughter, who is a nun. The father must try to protect his family from different kinds of danger and powerful forces. Aside from protecting his family, the father also made his daughter his sole heir to his estate making the film's storyline turn into something dark but in a Wes Anderson fashion—colorful and quirky.

Michael Cera's character in the film is Bjorn Lund. Although there are still no details about his character yet, we expect that he might be the spy or one of the father's main allies!


Now that Michael Cera is part of Wes Anderson's film, we're going to expect that the younger generations will get to love our millennial awkward soft boy just like how much we loved him when we were growing up.
