Stephen A Smith says he won't be talking about LeBron James as much as he does when he retires from the sport.

“When you retire let’s see how much I talk about you then. You won’t matter much. I promise you," he declared.

While he may have intended for it to come off as threatening and presumably wanted to hint that the legendary basketball player would no longer be relevant after he retired, fans are thrilled.

Scores online are jokingly suggesting that he may as well go ahead and stop himself from commenting on LeBron James now, instead of waiting for him to retire. Others are humorously noting that his threat isn't threatening.
