Did you happen to catch E-40 in the NBA audience? No, not the actual game but in the video game NBA 2K. The gaming industry has come a long way over the years with improvements in gameplay and graphics, and NBA 2K just took it up a notch. The NBA juggernaut thought that showing lifelike sweat and killer jumpshots wasn't enough, so they added celebrities in the audience.

The newest addition to the NBA 2K graphic design project is Bay Area rap legend E-40. 2K fans can see him chillin' courtside and enjoying LeBron's dunks and Curry's three-pointers. The best part is that he is not just a blurry NPC; the game developers have done a great job at making him as realistic as possible. Though they did forget to add his beanie and sunglasses.

And that's where they gave the fans a chance to become world-class roasters. You see, E-40 is known for wearing a beanie/fedora and shades, and without them, he is just a gangsta Jamal Bowman. Imagine you are fighting hard to get that slam dunk, and when you finally do, you see E-40 out of the corner of your eye, celebrating your points and giving you a slow head bob.

And every time you get a three-pointer in and the camera cuts to the rapper doing his signature finger twirl thing, with the entire audience screaming, "I'm a winner." All this would surely make the game interesting. Maybe that's why the developers chose to do it.

Fan reaction to NBA 2K adding E-40 to the front row

Gaming has come a long way from 2D Mario squashing turtles to game trailers being released where, for a good 10 seconds, audiences feel like they are watching a live-action movie trailer. The graphics on players have improved significantly, with their mannerisms being flawlessly included.

And watching the exact replica of your favorites in a game is as exciting for a 30-year-old as it is for a 12-year-old. So when NBA fans saw that rapper E-40 is featured in the game, they opened their laptops to check out the marvel. They were greeted by a new version of the rapper, and that brought out hilarious reactions from them. Check out these to get a good laugh.
