What we know so far: the Macrodata Refinement Troops (Mark, Dylan, Helly, and Irv) returned, but they are still bothered by what happened to their innie self and outie selves, so that's why, in Season 2, they are unraveling Lumon's hidden secrets. In addition, the trio (Helly, Dylan, and Irv) are helping Mark to locate her wife (Miss Casey/Gemma) because it is revealed that she is still alive (remember the last scene in Season 1? Yes, that's it)!
And what about the goats? Well, you have to watch episode 3 of Severance season 2 to find out why there are goats at Lumon!
Severance season 2 is exciting, heartstopping, and can make you think of a thousand theories about each character. One thing is for sure - AppleTV struck gold with this series!
