Spider-Man 4 reportedly features Peter Parker's classmates less, fans are rejoicing: Read the funniest comments below
Here's what one user jokingly pointed out:
"Thank god they were annoying"
The comments didn’t end there, as even more chimed in to poke fun at the news with varied sentiments:
"Good. These two are mediocre," someone jested.
"Good. They’re holding him back," another humorously echoed.
"Why they still in the films?" one X user snarkily probed.
"As they should," yet another jokingly stated.
Check out what the rest of X is saying:
"THANK GAWD!" someone jokingly exclaimed.
"How about no roles," another humorously suggested.
"i don’t want him to see the them until the end of the movie," one user hilariously begged.
"Good, they are unbelievably annoying," yet another X user stated.
A large number of users felt that Ned and MJ contributed nothing to the Spider-Man films and, if anything, even held Peter Parker back. A few, however, claimed that Ned was the unnecessary one and that MJ should be allowed to stay in a larger capacity in the upcoming film.
Many online felt that this decision made sense, given that they are no longer in high school and—spoiler alert—towards the end of the last film, everyone forgot who Peter Parker was in the first place. So, it wouldn’t make sense for them to be hanging out with him so much unless they find a way to reverse what has been done.
While it remains to be seen how this decision pans out, since Spider-Man 4 is expected to be released in the near future, fans are having their fun on X anyway.
