Tatiana Maslany's She-Hulk is reportedly going to play a significant part in Avengers: Doomsday. Jennifer Walters, alias She-Hulk, first appeared in the MCU with the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law in 2022.

As reported by ComicBook.com, Maslany recently canceled her appearance at Comic-Con Liverpool, saying she was busy with a shoot. However, after a little digging, it was discovered that she is filming for the upcoming Avengers movie and will have a "fairly significant" role in it.

Earlier, a concept art of She-Hulk and other MCU characters went viral, connecting them to Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. But the Russo Brothers ended the rumors, assuring people that the artwork was not real.

Nonetheless, rumors about her involvement in the next Avengers movies have only increased.

Maslany's performance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law received divided reviews upon release. Critics rated it 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience rating was only 41%.

The character has never been immune to fans' vocal backlash, and now, with the rumor that she might be featured in a significant Avengers project, not everyone is pleased. With Marvel's recent project being mediocre, most users have already been critical of what's coming up next.

With this news, social media is ablaze with jokes and memes, some purporting this is another reason to avoid the movie. Others are jokingly proclaiming how "done" they are with the whole franchise.

Could it get any more relatable? A user summed up their feelings in a hilarious meme:

This user could simply have said no, but they chose to react with the brutal meme.

And then, the most dramatic GIF made its way through the comment section.

Some fans are already jokingly counting themselves out, saying they won't even bother watching if this is where Marvel is headed.

Ranging from saying "It was fun while it lasted" to others requesting affirmation just so they know to avoid the movie, the internet is roasting this news in every way possible.

A user @onBrandVibes declared in the most straightforward way possible:

"MCU is cooked 😭"

Another user @shrunkenpants mentioned:

"Welp. It was fun while it lasted."

A user @CmonSpiderSense went on to say that:

"Welp there goes some hype I had."

A user @PlanettGazer hilariously mentioned:

"Please confirm this asap so I know if I have to pass on this movie."

Other people are humorously speculating that Marvel is intentionally positioning itself for failure and that the title Doomsday is indeed apt—because it may very well be Marvel's own Doomsday at this point.

Yet another user, @farazsayyed16 has passed the verdict, saying:

"Then it's safe to say that it will really be 'DOOMED'."

A user @kagril_ served the roast, saying:

"They want the movie to fail huh?"

A user @coldwolven1988 quipped:

"Marvel's Doomsday seems more appropriate."

She-Hulk's part in Avengers: Doomsday remains a mystery, and we won't know for certain how it goes until the film is out. In the meantime, let's simply hope that Marvel doesn't blow this one.
