Fans' hilarious reactions to the Wicked icons on Peacock

Because of Wicked's impact, fans poked fun at Peacock's icons, saying they're changing their app's profile picture on their devices! (via X/@CujoLima)

Other fans roasted the streaming app, saying that once in a blue (or green?) moon, the app is slaying and serving—which is very rare for them to do so!

"Omg rare Peacock serve!" - a fan said (via X/@themluvvash)

Some fans are also hilariously confused because they don't know which icon to use. Is it Elphaba? Or is it Glinda? Either way, no matter who your icon will be on your profile, it will surely defy all the (streaming) odds!

"I’m having a hard time with which one should be my profile icon!" - another fan replied (via X/@poptruther)

Fans also trolled their family's streaming app account, assigning Glinda's icon to their parents' "favorite child"! (via X/@usoppluver)

X users also clowned other streaming devices, saying that they should also have Wicked icons and they don't care if Wicked is even part of the streaming apps' roster of films!

"Need every streaming service to as well, idec if they have Wicked!" - an X user remarked (via X/@mainpovgirl)

Other X users also noticed Elphaba and Glinda's photos used on the icon, commenting that the two best witches are having a mug off with their looks! (via X/@ViolinzViolinz)

Now that Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba and Ariana Grande's Glinda are the Wicked icons on the streaming service app, some fans requested that there should also be Idina Menzel's Elphaba and Kristen Chenoweth's Glinda as icons, too!

"Now give us Idina and Kristen…" - another fan added (via X/@solungsl*t)

Netizens are also hilariously confused with the streaming app's icons, saying that the film and its icons should be on Netflix or Disney+! (via X/@INS0MNlATIC)

And finally, because of the app's Wicked icons, X users now have an excuse to change their icons because of Elphaba and Glinda!

"I was Kelly from The Office since I got Peacock, so I was due for a change." - another X user commented (via X/@sweetykins)

Why is Wicked not on Netflix?

If you are curious as to why Wicked is not on Netflix and is on Peacock? Well, the answer is quite simple: the film is a Universal Pictures film and as a promotion of Universal Pictures' streaming app, Wicked will exclusively be put on their app first, then later on, it may be distributed to other streaming services!

If you have the Peacock application, good for you because you can change your icons into Elphaba or Glinda and you can also relive the magical world of Wicked! If you're a solid Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+ user, don't fret! Who knows, Wicked will also be on your preferred platform. All we have to do is wait!
