Remember Spider-Noir from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse? Fans loved the black-clad web-slinger with a fedora and trench coat, voiced by the legendary Nicolas Cage. And it looks like Marvel has taken notice, now working on a series dedicated to the noir-themed Spider-Man himself!

Marvel has confirmed a Spider-Noir series starring Nicolas Cage, potentially releasing in both color and black and white. The show will follow an aging private investigator and superhero in an alternate 1930s New York, grappling with his past. Fans are hyped to see their favorite web-slinger in a brand-new detective avatar!

Hilarious Fan Reactions

Marvel fans were thrilled by the Spider-Noir series announcement and had plenty of amusing reactions to share.

"This is still the strangest project I can think of😂," a fan wrote.

This user finds the project uniquely bizarre, as Spider-Noir brings a never-before-seen take on Spider-Man, blending black-and-white aesthetics, a detective outfit, and Nicolas Cage’s voice. It’s a recipe straight out of early 20th-century noir films!

"Haters will say Zack Snyder had no influence," commented another.

A black-and-white superhero series featuring a darker version of Spider-Man? This user can’t help but wonder if Zack Snyder is secretly directing it. If that’s the case, we might be in for the darkest Spider-Man adaptation ever!

With Nicolas Cage bringing his signature flair to the character, this is bound to be an absolute joyride. Just take a look at this Nic Cage GIF shared by this user - do you really have any doubts?

"Will it be a good Nic Cage movie or a bad Nic Cage movie?" a fan asked.

Ah, the classic question - will this be a good Nic Cage movie or a bad Nic Cage movie? While he's starred in some truly brilliant and unique films, he's also taken on some bizarre projects that left fans scratching their heads. Let’s hope Spider-Noir falls into the former category!

"Why would they make it in color," wondered another.

Hmm, if you're making a Spider-Noir series, why release it in both black and white and color? As this fan suggests, Marvel should take the hint from the word "Noir" and stick to black and white!

Looks like the announcement of a Spider-Noir series voiced by Nicolas Cage has finally answered fans' prayers for a dedicated show about the web-slinging detective from the 1930s. So, in the words of one of Nic Cage's iconic characters, we can safely say, "Everything's going to be A-okay."
