MrBeast, the 'life coach-turned-Youtube philanthropist,' sat down with the Clickbaited podcast recently and decided to spit some 'much-needed knowledge' for IShowSpeed. What's the topic? Acting normally when Cristiano Ronaldo is around. Yeah, normal - something Speed and his Ronaldo fixation can never be.
Speed, who virtually lives in CR7 gear and shouts "Siuuu!" like it's his own wake-up call, decided to respond to MrBeast's advice. Since asking Speed to keep an eye off Ronaldo is tantamount to asking a fish to desist from swimming - good luck with that.
MrBeast said in the same podcast:
"Just be chill. Just be yourself Speed, don't cry, don't freak out, don't smell him, definitely don't bark at him... The thing is, if you want Ronaldo to hang out with you again, just act normal speed."
As soon as the news came out, someone (@debayo_xx) took to his X account and commented:
"Speed will not be taking that advice."
And seriously, truer words have never been typed. MrBeast could have delivered a step-by-step PowerPoint presentation on remaining calm, and Speed would still bolt at Ronaldo like a fanboy in turbo mode. Chill? Professional? Respectful distance? Speed doesn't even know those settings exist.
After hearing MrBeast's advice, Speed did what 'Speed does best' - he took it to the fans and asked how a conversation with Ronaldo should even play out. Because let's be real, normal and speed go together like water and oil. He said in his Twitch stream:
"Hey, Ronaldo. How was your day today? Oh, you ate Avacado with eggs? Wow, that's such a protein, high protein breakfast. Yeah, of course you eat that, you're one of the best footballers. So, Ronaldo, did you hear about the new movie that came out? Interstellar? Like chat! Stuff like that? Like, stuff like that?"
Speed asking the fans for conversation tips was akin to 'giving the internet a mic'-and, naturally, they 'didn't let them down.' The comments immediately became a stand-up comedy think tank, where folks proposed from courteous greetings to stay calm to Speed getting cut off mid-sentence with a Siuuu.
It was not so much about 'serious tips' but more about 'who would correctly anticipate the greatest meltdown joke.' This is how the internet responded to Speed's "how not to freak out?" conundrum.
Netizens have reacted as Mr. Beast advised Speed to "be chill" and "not bark" if he meets Cristiano Ronaldo
A few couldn't help clowning the entire thing, teasing that Speed requesting chill advice is like a volcano requesting how to stay cool. Everybody knows that that conversation's ending in a 'Siuuu and security in the picture:'
"Yeah good joke," a user commented.
"Bruv is giving advice like he is not socially awkward... nice lunchly btw, learned from logan ?," another user wrote.
"Act normal sis not the thing you wanna say to someone to make them act normal," a netizen expressed.
Then there's the peanut gallery, chipping in like 'expert Ronaldo consultants.' They didn't have solutions - only jokes, such as they 'knew Speed was going to fumble' the instant he spoke:
"Just what I always wanted to know. How to act around cristiano Ronaldo," a folk commented.
"No way he would stay calm," a user joked.
"And Speed ignored all of that advice and went full fan-girl infront of him. He looked scared," another user commented.
Some of them just left random remarks that 'did not make any sense but sounded funny anyway':
"I wouldn’t take any advice from Mr. Beast," a user hilariously commented.
"Imagine needing MrBeast to tell you how to act around Ronaldo. Bro really studying a playbook just to meet his idol," according to a user.
Ultimately, Speed doesn't behave calm, cool, or collected - he does 'Siuuuu back flips and accidental mayhem'. It's the Internet that knew it. Speed showed it, and if he does meet Ronaldo, it'll be how long until security intervenes.
