2025 is the year of changes—may it be a lowkey or drastic change, it will be easily noticed by social media users.

Case in point: You're one of the most accessible stores. What could possibly change? In the case of Walmart, they have changed their logo and X users are having fun trolling its "new" logo.

X user @Dexerte tweeted Walmart's "new" and "improved" logo and the X users were not having any of IT!

A lot of social media people pointed out about Walmart's "drastic" change:

"Shocking drastic change." - one user replied
"Wow. This change is massive." - another one pointed out

Other users also pointed out that if you look REALLY hard, you'll find the Walmart logo change.

Some pointed out that Walmart's designer didn't really do any logo change, it's just pure imagination.

X users also said that an advertising agency in New York might be paid millions just by doing *THAT* logo!

"And you know some NYC ad agency was paid millions to think up this dramatic change LOL." - one user said

Others trolled the "new" Walmart logo, even to the point that the one who changed the logo was the Mad Man himself, Donald "Don" Draper.

X users were having a blast with their hilarious reactions some pointed out that it's like the Spiderman meme.

One X user said that Walmart's "new" logo worked because a lot of people are talking about it on social media. TALK ABOUT A *PERFECT* MARKETING STRATEGY!

But why did Walmart change its logo?

According to Walmart, they changed their logo because of going into a more fresh, vibrant, and young look, but with the logo looking back to its roots—retaining its heritage of blue and its recognizable while changing its color: True Blue and Spark Yellow.

In a press release, they explained the reason for the logo change:

"Walmart aims to be an inspirational, digital retailer that provides all the products, brands and services our customers need and want. This update, rooted in the legacy of our founder, Sam Walton, demonstrates our evolving capabilities and longstanding commitment to serve our customers of today and tomorrow." - William White, Walmart U.S. Senior Vice President and Chier Marketing Officer, said

Just like what our elders say, the only constant thing in this world is change. Even if this will take time and even if Walmart's target audience and consumers are resistant to its logo change, time will tell that they will fully embrace Walmart's "new" logo.
