Ladies and gentlemen, his name is Paul Heyman, and he has officially sent the internet into a meltdown! Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins recently shocked the world when they banded together to officially become the most hated duo in WWE. The events played out in spectacular fashion in the main event of WrestleMania 41 when Heyman betrayed both his longtime pal and his Tribal Chief to offer the chair to Rollins instead.

The events sparked a wave of reactions from fans on social media as the surprising heel turn took the internet by storm.

Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins' alliance at WrestleMania sends fans into a frenzy

We would be lying if we said that we saw this coming. Yeah, sure, WWE had been teasing a potential twist in the tale with the way things had been going for the past couple of weeks. Heyman owing both CM Punk AND Seth Rollins a favor, and that too, at the same time? Honestly, the signs were there, but to think that WWE would pull the trigger on the heel turn so soon was still too much for some fans to bear.

And just like that, with the wiseman's aid, Seth Rollins was able to beat CM Punk and Roman Reigns at the grandest stage of them all! Heyman's shocking intervention sent the wrestling community into a tailspin and fans came up with absurd theories of their own about his motivations:

"They joining Rock and Cena tomorrow", quipped a fan (via X / @thefilmstans).

WWE traditionally reserves the biggest spectacles for the Mania season, and this was no different. The wrestling behemoth had earlier come under criticism for not having either of the two Royal Rumble winners headlining WrestleMania. Yet, as the dust settled on a jaw-dropping triple threat match featuring Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns, fans are not complaining anymore.

One fan was singing praises of the Visionary for having the OTC's number:

"DEATH, TAXES AND SETH ROLLINS BEATS ROMAN REIGNS. EVERY SINGLE TIME."

There were also Shield references aplenty, and when Seth smacked Roman Reigns with a steel chair again, fans laughed at the absurdity of life coming full circle for the former Hounds of Justice:

"Roman’s back is a chair magnet at this point", quipped one fan.

The triple threat match had a lot of expectations, and it's safe to say that it didn't disappoint fans at all. The match was a grand spectacle worthy of the Main Event, as all three men battled for... proving who was the biggest, baddest dude of them all. Turns out, the biggest, baddest dude was sitting in a corner the whole time, wearing a suit and tie.

If WWE really wanted to turn it into a Paul Heyman custody match, they should've advertised the match as such. As Paul low-blowed his two closest pals, fans sitting at home felt the pain with those he had betrayed as well. Netizens trolled Heyman for changing colors like a chameleon:

"Paul Heyman gotta be the biggest snake on this planet LMAO, bro has betrayed every one of his client/friend/Tribal Chief wonder when he betrays Seth Rollins" mocked one fan (via X / @CeaserWrestles).

For those of you unfamiliar with the wrestling gimmick, another fan explained the absurd turn of events in Baseball terms:

"Aaron Judge just hit a HR for the Yankees, then went to the Dodgers in the same game and hit one for them, AND THEN pulled out a 9mm, shot both teams’ managers in the kneecaps and chose to go to the Red Sox."

Yet another fan compared Rollins and Heyman to this iconic duo:

Amid the euphoria on the internet, one fan just had one wish from Night 2 of Wrestlemania:

"PLEASE LET CENA WIN AND SAVE ME."

Perhaps Seth Rollins really is a visionary, as after weeks of teasing and cryptic innuendos, his efforts finally bore fruit. The man finally delivered when it mattered the most. The possibilities this heel turn presents are endless- can you imagine adding a certain beast incarnate to the mix as well, along with the original three? Just turn it into a Paul Heyman custody match already, and we'd have a potential all-timer of a spectacle on our hands!

As the dust settles on this fresh turn, what we can say for certain is that the RAW after Maina is going to be ELECTRIC!
