Why is I Said I Love You First 5.9/10 on Pitchfork?

We know that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's album is made with love and it is full of love, but why does it have a low rating on Pitchfork?

Well, the reason that it has a 5.9 rating on Pitchfork is that the album is all-round somewhat average by some music critics. Aside from having juvenile-like lyricism, it just felt inauthentic to the listeners, and it's unmemorable, even if the topic of their album is all about love.
