Superhero nerds assemble. Gen V might be coming to rescue you from boredom. There is news for you from the faraway land of Hollywood. If you have been waiting by the window to see if Golden Boy is flying through the sky, your wait is finally over. If not in the sky, you will see Golden Boy and his gang of young 'supes' on your TV screens very soon.
Gen V is set in Godolkin University, where youngsters with superpowers train to become superheroes. It's like Harry Potter, but instead of wands, students have superpowers, and instead of Avada Kedavra, they summon cosmic energies from their bellies and shoot them out of their mouths.
Eric Kripke, the mind behind the TV series, recently revealed that the first trailer and the release date for the new season of Gen V will be released soon. And soon can be anywhere between tomorrow and when Homelander finally learns he is a jerk. Kripke said,
"I think this season is better than S1 & will be worth the wait"
Fan reaction to Gen V trailer and release date announcement coming soon

User @anandvijay123 seems to have a lot of faith in Eric Kripke,

For those who think superheroes only exist in the MCU and DCU, here is a news flash for you. Gen V is a spin-off of the hit superhero TV series The Boys. The Boys portrays superheroes in a different light. It has a different spin on what a world with superheroes can look like.
What if, instead of saving the child from a falling beam, they stopped to see what would happen when the beam hit the child? Sounds scary, right? That's just 1% of what the show is about.
In the show, superheroes are a normal part of society, but instead of being the righteous protectors of the world, they are more like celebrities who love to abuse their powers for selfish gains. It is a show that will make Dexter look like Paw Patrol. Gen V is the spin-off of this show.
