Fans' hilarious memes about the *almost* storylines of Pretty Little Liars
Because of Sara Shepard's series of IG posts, fans poked fun at the *almost* storylines, commenting that it should have been included in the show for more twisted plot twists! (via X/@byeitsalex)
Other PLL fans also joked about the show's possible storylines, saying that it's better than the "Spencer and his long-lost British sister" storyline.
"Anything would have been better than Spencer's long-lost British sister." - another fan replied (via X/@TayoPSG)
Because Sara Shepard revealed that the almost storyline of the show was Alison should've been Mona's accomplice as "A," fans are still curious and thought of the storyline's possibility since Alison is one of the conniving characters of the series!
"This would’ve been so good considering how sneaky and conniving alison was!" - another fan added (via X/@gagas)
"It should have been thisss!" - another fan remarked (via X/@themluvvash)
X users also joked that it's all of the show's writers' fault because they made the finale different—without thinking about the fans' reactions, especially that the show is something new, dark, and twisted during its time! (via X/@xoxosaruh2001)
Other X users are still bitter about Pretty Little Liars' finale, saying that because the writers wanted it to be different, almost the majority of the cast were "A," ruining the show's quality.
"This is what we deserved but instead we got Mona as a, Ezra and Toby as a, Cece as a, and Spencer’s long lost British twin sister as a" - an X user commented (via X/@emmmaglenn)
And finally, X users hilariously asked Sara Shepard WHY she did not do the *almost* storylines? Well, maybe because it'll complicate the book series and the show? We don't know! (via X/@poisonmotives)
What happened during the Pretty Little Liars finale?
8 years later, and we're still not over the Pretty Little Liars finale. But to some who has forgotten the finale, here's the gist: Spencer's twin, Alex Drake, is the real "A," BUT there are a lot of "A's," such as Mona, among others, making the Liars' lives a living hell for one last time!
We can't say that it's a happy ending for Pretty Little Liars, especially since the fans are still disappointed on how the show was written until the finale, but one thing's for certain: if Sara Shepard added the almost storylines in the book and even added it to the show, the series might have finished strong.
